Waiting depicts my two cats Phoebe and Ash as they sit in front of their brightly colored food bowls waiting…
The Butterfly Effect is a mixed media painting based on a photograph taken a few years back of my two cats Ash and Phoebe napping on a green polka dot sheet covering the bed. The manner in which their backs are touching and united form the appearance of a butterfly, hence the work’s title. Moreover, the emotional connection between the two animals is depicted. As in my other works, the title suggests a larger abstract concept that is being pondered. The butterfly effect is a term used to describe the scientific theory that a single occurrence, no matter how small, can change the course of the universe forever.
